‘Home For Good’ Campaign (Bundaberg)

Tuesday 16th September 2014

RHL is excited to be leading the ‘Home For Good’ campaign in the Bundaberg region.

‘Home For Good’ is a community-driven campaign to help end homelessness in Queensland by building a register of people experiencing homelessness and coordinating community resources to house and support them. Through a comprehensive survey tool, Queensland’s communities will get to know each person and family experiencing homelessness in their town or city by name and record their housing, healthcare and support service needs.

The most vulnerable individuals and families can then be prioritised for urgent assistance in housing and ongoing support. One by one, we can work together to end homelessness for individuals and families caught in the cycle of crisis and emergency responses.

The Queensland Government, as part of its Homelessness-to-Housing 2020 strategy, is partnering with the Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS) to roll out this initiative and collaborate with local community housing and support providers.
